What is the multi-gallery feature?
The Artlogic Multi-Gallery feature enables businesses managing multiple gallery locations to streamline their operations within a single system. It allows users to segment inventory and financial records by location while maintaining a unified database. Within this feature, galleries can assign artworks to specific locations, track availability across different spaces, and generate location-specific reports. This tool enhances efficiency for multi-location galleries by providing a clear overview of inventory distribution and operational insights.
What does this feature do?
Below, are the different areas of your database that you can segment to specific locations when multi-Gallery is setup:
Artworks
- Artworks can be assigned to specific businesses/galleries/locations.
- Individual users can be restricted to only see artworks allocated to specific galleries in their artworks overview. Artworks that are not assigned to a gallery will be visible to everyone.
- Your login details will be the same as they currently are (unless you need to add any additional users) and administrators are able to manage individual user permissions/restrictions.
Invoices
- If you have opted to split your invoices by gallery during setup. Your invoices can be assigned to specific businesses/galleries/locations.
- It will not be possible to split historical invoices between galleries, you will need to choose one gallery which they will all fall under.
Contacts
- Contacts will remain shared between all locations to those that have access.
How much does this cost?
This feature is included as standard with Gallery Management Expert.
Implementing this feature requires development to segment artwork records and invoices.
Please note, it is not possible to implement invoice segregation without also segregating artwork records too.
If you would like to proceed, please get in touch and we will help enable this for you.
