The multi-template beta feature allows you to utilise the built-in activity timeline documents and repurpose them for other documents. With this feature enabled, terms within the Template Library of the database have the option to be duplicated. Follow the steps in this guide to learn how to use this beta feature.
How to use the multi-template beta feature
Duplicate your terms
To start, you'll want to duplicate the terms.
1. For admin users, go to Other > Admin > Template Library.
2. Select 'Edit' for the desired terms (i.e. Consignment Note (in) - default heading)
3. Select 'Duplicate' (between 'Save & Close' and 'Restore Defaults')
Create your new terms
Applying Duplicated Terms to Documents
1. Once the terms have been saved, return to the Artworks section to generate a new document.
2. In the document creation pop up window you will now see a new option to ‘Select from library…’ under each of the sections:
- Heading
- Text above records
- Text below reccords
3. Once selected you will see a list of all of the duplicated terms you can select from.
4. You can then generate your document.
