In the new Cookie Consent preferences, you will need to choose whether to class Google Analytics as a statistics cookie or a marketing cookie and what instructions you would like to add to the 'Manage cookies' pop-up window. At the moment this functionality is only compatible with Google Analytics, it is not able not block cookies for other third-party scripts (Facebook pixel, chatbots, etc).
Please note, Google Analytics will not collect any data until consent has been given by the visitor, therefore this may affect your statistics. If the viewer clicks the Accept button they automatically give consent for all cookies. All cookies set by our sites have been categorised as “strictly necessary”.
