This article outlines how you can expect prints and editions to work in Private Views.
Create a new Private View
You can create Private Views by searching and flagging your chosen (master) records in 'Artworks' and selecting Create... > Create a Private View.
Info: For more information on creating and managing your Private Views, click here.
Add master edition records
When adding master records to your Private View, you'll notice the description notes the edition size and the types of editions included.
Add individual child edition records
When adding child editions to your Private View, the edition type and number of the record will display, as well as its individual price.
Adjust how editions show in the Private Views App
Click Artworks > Private Views > iPad/iPhone synchronisation to control the following options:
- Edition Management > tick Automatically remove Master editions when all child records are unavailable
- Choose which fields to export > toggle Child edition prices within Master edition records to choose if you wish for individual edition prices to be listed when you click into Master edition records
Note: a Master edition's Status & Availability will reflect the overall Status & Availability for the set of editions. For example, if there are 5 editions in your stock and only one is available, the Master edition will show as available.
