Unable to access the PrivateViews app on one of your devices?
If you are seeing a 'session expired' or 'deathorised' notification, it is likely that you have reached the maximum number of devices registered to your PrivateViews account.
Please note: as of December 2023 the Artlogic app has replaced the Private Views app. Whilst you can continue to use the Private Views app for a limited period of time and receive basic support from our team, we ask all clients to download the Artlogic app as soon as possible. Getting started with the Artlogic app and synchronising your inventory is quick and seamless as most of the settings and functionalities available in this version have remained unchanged. For more information on what’s new in the Artlogic app read this article. Should you have further questions please contact our Support team on support@artlogic.net or visit this help guide for additional guidance on setting up.
Too many devices registered
You’ll be able to view all the devices currently registered to your account in the same ‘Usage’ tab of your privateviews.com account. It is likely that you will not have logged in to the online version of the PrivateViews app before. We do not recommend making any edits to your collections here (remember to do this in your Artlogic database).
Deauthorise a device
- Log in to privateviews.com on a computer/laptop browser, with the same username (your Artlogic account ID) and password that you use to log in to your PrivateViews app.
- Select Manage > Account settings.
- Go to the Usage tab.
-
Deauthorise a device in order to free up space for a new device to be authorised. Then click Submit to complete the process.
Alternative: Add additional users to your subscription
If you do not wish to remove any devices from your PrivateViews account, you are welcome to add as many devices as you wish. Let us know how many you would like us to add by contacting us at support@artlogic.net.
How much will this cost?
GBP10+VAT per month per additional device activation.
