This guide explains how to add News records to your website and how to adjust how they are displayed.
Add a News record
Go to your CMS > Records > News > New record > complete the fields, selecting 'Enabled on website' to make live.
If you can't see 'News' under Records, make sure this module has been enabled in Settings > Settings > General.
Be sure to add a 'Publication date' to the bottom of the record edit screen. This is the date by which the news record is sorted.
Modify how your News records appear
Go to 'Other records'
You are able to make further edits to your News records by going to your CMS > Settings > Settings > Sections > Other Records and scroll to News.
Here, you'll be able to edit the appearance of the News items as they display on your 'News' page. The following settings will be set to the template's 'Default' option.
- Enable pagination between records - this is a way of dividing your content into different and discreet pages, making it more digestible.
