You can create custom labels to display information about your chosen artwork. This guide will help you understand how to create custom labels within the Artlogic management system.
How to create custom labels
Steps
- Flag the artwork(s) that you want to create custom labels for.
- Click the flag at the top and select Find flagged.
- Navigate to Create at the bottom of the system and then select Documents/Reports.
- Select Custom labels under Labels.
- From here, you can start creating your labels as you wish.
Understanding the custom label fields
Here are a few things to understand as you begin to populate the various fields to create your custom labels:
- Artlogic provides you with the industry standard label presets.

A4 is the UK standard page and US Letter is the US standard page.
- When you select a label preset, the system will auto populate the fields to suit the selected label preset but you can tailor these to suit your requirements.
Please note: the unit of measurement for custom labels are in centimetres.
- Label gutter refers to the space between columns of labels on a sheet.
- Label padding refers to the space between label's content and its border.
- You can customise your labels by also adding artwork images, stock numbers, copyright and courtesy information, artist reference numbers and prices.
- Once you are happy with the inputted information, you can save preferences as default and select download.
Custom labels are ONLY compatible with word.
