Once the switch is made and your new website is 'launched', your job is done!
How do I know what to do?
A domain host is an internet service that manages your domain name, for example, 'yourdomain.com'.
Domain hosts use DNS records to connect your domain name with email, websites, and other web services. Popular domain hosts include GoDaddy, Network Solutions, 123Reg, and 1&1, to name a few.
To connect your domain(s) to your Artlogic website you will need to change some DNS records in your domain host account. We recommend getting an IT support professional or your domain host customer service to make this change for you. You will find further instructions to send to them, including your IP address, by going to your website CMS > Settings > Website launch guide > Connect domains.
Click 'Connect' by each domain, and you will receive your IP address, and further connection instructions:
You can find out who your domain host is here. In most cases, it will be the company listed as 'Registrar'.
If you wish to make the changes yourself we have provided step-by-step instructions for the most common domain hosts. Click on your domain host below. If your domain host is not listed, we recommend contacting them directly for assistance.
