This feature allows users to upload and attach a document (or documents) to multiple artworks in one streamlined process.
Key Functionality
Central Upload: Users can upload a document once and the file is stored centrally in the Documents Archive.
Attach Document(s) to Artworks: From the artwork list screen, users can use "Update Multiple" to attach uploaded document(s) to one or more artworks in a single step.
Unified Attachments List:Documents attached via this method appear in each artwork’s attachments list, alongside any files uploaded directly to that record/field.
Easy Unlinking: To remove a document from artworks, users can simply delete the corresponding record in the Documents Archive, which will unlink it from all associated artworks.
Upload and attach documents

From the Artworks list screen, find or flag the artworks you want to attach the document to.

Select Update Multiple from the Update/Delete multiple menu at the bottom of the screen.
Click Update found set or Update flagged records.
Find and select the field where the attachment(s) should appear.

Upload document(s) by dragging and dropping or clicking to select. Upon selection they will be immediately stored in the Documents Archive. Large documents may take several seconds to appear.

Click Review and attach to continue. If you click Back, the uploaded files will remain in the Documents Archive.
Click Attach documents to link the correct number of documents to the selected Artworks.
When complete, Artlogic will confirm that the documents have been attached. Click to go to the Documents Archive (to view all uploaded files) or to Return to the Artwork list.
Access documents in the Documents Archive
Documents uploaded using this feature will appear in the Documents Archive.
To access the Documents Archive, navigate to the Other menu, then Documents & files and Documents archive.
From the Documents Archive, you can change the view from “All” to “Added via update multiple.” Scroll over the document and click the pencil icon to edit.
From the Edit document screen, edit or delete the document.
Deleting the file will delete the document from the Documents Archive and remove the Attachment link from all associated artworks. This cannot be undone.
Access attachments from the Artwork
When editing the Artwork, the attached document(s) will appear below the selected field alongside any other individually attached documents.
Click Manage attachments and then the arrow icon at the right to edit or delete the attachment in the Documents Archive. Editing or deleting the attachment from the Edit document screen will change or remove it for all associated artworks.
After editing or deleting the document, you may need to refresh the screen for the changes to show.
