You can now update the status and availability of artworks from the Artlogic app and have that status accurately reflected in your Artlogic management system. Whether an artwork is reserved or sold, changes are reflected across Artlogic. Read this guide to learn how to activate the relevant settings and use this feature in the Artlogic app.
Activate the setting in the Management System
Steps
- Once logged in, navigate to the App menu in the main navigation bar.
- Go to Settings and open the Additional details tab.
- On this page scroll down to the Other settings section and select 'Enable all users to change availability from the app'.
Without this setting enabled, you won't be able to progress as the Change availability button would not display in the app.
Updating the availability from the Artlogic app
Once logged in, you can update the status&availability of a specific artwork record, by clicking on the three dot menu in the item detail view and selecting Change availability.
In this section, you will find a comprehensive compilation of the various combinations of status and availability as defined by Artlogic. The app will allow users to add details only for the following options:
Reserved:
Sold:
3rd Party:
Once details are changed, the artwork details will update automatically in your management system and the previous status will be logged in the history logs of the record in question.
