This guide will highlight some of the major differences between the old app (Private Views) and the new app (Artlogic).

Logging in to the old Private Views app will use your account ID as the username, and a unique password set previously.
Creating a new Collection
Overview
You longer need to navigate to privateviews.com to create a new Collection and can do this from within your database by navigating to Artworks > Private Views > Collections Management.
This will take you to your Collections page, where you can create a new collection by clicking on the New Collection button on the bottom toolbar. You'll also notice that each collection now has a tag indicating how many private views are in the collection.
Clicking on the New Collection button will prompt a new record, with fields for the Title and Description of the Collection. You can also upload a cover image by clicking on Upload Image.
In the old app, you would need to click Manage on the bottom left of privateviews.com to toggle the Live button for each Collection in order for this to sync to the app. This is now within the Collection record, using the Sync with iOS app toggle.
You can now directly search for, instead of linking the private views, you would like to add. To order the private views, simply click on an item and drag and drop to reorder. There is also an option to Archive a Collection in case you no longer want to see this in your main Collections list.
Sorting
The Sort For App button under the search bar will open a pop-up with settings on sorting your Collections. You can also toggle between your main Collections list, Collections that are synced to the app, and Archived Collections using the Drop down next to App Collections.
Settings
The iPad/iPhone synchronisation settings in the old version (under Artworks > Private Views) can now be accessed by clicking on the App Settings button on the bottom toolbar of the Collections Management page.
This will open the same settings page, with a top navigational bar to toggle between different sections.
Adding Installation Views and Documents
You no longer have to create installation views as collections and can add this into the Private View Links. This will appear like so:
Please follow the guides below to learn how to add these to your Private View Links:

To select artworks in the new app, you can long press on an item to prompt Select item. This will trigger selection mode. You can share the selected items by clicking on the share button on the bottom left, or exit selection mode with the menu on the bottom right.
