Own Art calculation (for integrated clients)

Clients with an integrated Artlogic website and database can choose to show Own Art calculations on their websites.

Own Art offer galleries and museums in the UK interest-free art loans for a more affordable way to collect and buy contemporary arts and crafts. If you are currently using the Own Art scheme you can choose to show own art calculations on your website for applicable artworks.

Info: This option will only appear for artworks priced in GBP and over £100. This functionality is available to integrated website clients only. If you're interested in trying this, please email support@artlogic.net.

Step one: Apply to artworks in your database

First you must select which artworks the Own Art calculation applies to within your database. 

Update a single artwork

1. Log in to your Artlogic database.
2. Go to Artworks > Views > Shared to website.
3. Edit the artwork for which you would like to tick this option.
4. Go to the Website tab.
5. Tick the Show 'OwnArt' calculation option:
   
6. Click Save.​

Update multiple artworks simultaneously

1. Login to your Artlogic database.
2. Go to Artworks > Views > Shared to website.
3. Search and flag the records that you would like to update.
4. Click on the Update/Delete multiple > Update Multiple option > Flagged records.
5. Scroll down to Sharing > Website Settings.
6. Tick the Show 'OwnArt' calculation and Show 'OwnArt' calculation.
   
7. Click Update.

Step two: Enable the option on your the website

Steps

1. Login to your Artlogic website CMS.
2. Go to Settings > Settings > Artworks > OwnArt Calculation.
3. Enable the Enable OwnArt calculation option:
   
4. Select the preferred following options:
   
5. Click Save.

Example

Once everything has been enabled, go to the artwork detail page on the website and check if it looks correct:
