Apple Pay and your online store
Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service created by Apple to allows users to make quick payments on the web. Artlogic websites now have the option to enable this feature with your Stripe account for your online sales. You are welcome to turn this on following the instructions below.
Before enabling Apple Pay
Before getting started, please read this further information on Apple Pay and your online store's security, included here. As payments from Apple Pay do not have the same rules as a normal payment, you will need to familiarise yourself with these differences before this can be enabled. How to enable Apple Pay
Requirements
- To enable Apple Pay for your online store, you will first need to make sure that you have a Stripe account connected to your CMS. If you don’t already have this connected, you can read about how to do this here.
- Please note that your website will need to be connected to live domains before enabling this. This will also need to be enabled on the CMS of your live website domain.
Steps
Once you have read and understood this information about Apple Pay, this can be enabled by logging into your live website domain CMS (eg www.websiteexample.com/admin and not website-websiteexample.artlogic.net/admin) and navigating to Online Sales > Payments settings > Apple Pay > Connect.
