Artlogic offers web safe fonts as a way to guarantee the text in your mailings displays consistently across all mail clients.
Which fonts are already available?
The following fonts are readily available in the mailing campaigns tool: Arial, Arial Black, Baskerville, Century Gothic, Courier, Courier New, Geneva, Georgia, Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Lucia, New York, Palatino, Times, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS and Verdana.
Can I add a custom font?
It is not possible to upload specific custom fonts to emails.
There are certain fonts that are web safe and we know will generally look good across all machines and software. More particular, specialised fonts will not be understood by all software and could be changed in ways you would not expect because all machines may not be able to read them in the same way. This could result in emails rendering in unexpected and unpredictable ways.
For example, email clients (such as Outlook) can only display fonts that are already installed on your recipients’ computers. They simply won’t recognise a new corporate typeface that you might be using in your printed materials. To make things more challenging, different operating systems, such as Apple and Windows, have completely different fonts installed by default.
To help mitigate this, Artlogic offers the choice of different web safe fonts in the email composition tool so we can guarantee your mailings will look as close to what you compose as possible when they reach your audience.
