Editing the CSS of your website
It will be up to your designer/developer to assess whether they will be able to achieve the result you are looking for and make the necessary changes within the framework of our templates by changing the styles/css.
Editing website styles (CSS)
You are welcome to edit the CSS of your own site but doing so is entirely at your own risk.
Whilst your website includes your own third-party CSS, we will not be able to offer support for the layout and design of the website and this will become your own responsibility to maintain. These edited styles can be removed and the site can be reset in order to receive support.
Steps
1. Login to your CMS
2. Settings > Styles
3. Advanced > Customise CSS Styles > Enable
Please only use this setting if you or your third party designer have experience with CSS and know exactly what you are doing.
Future Artlogic developments
Any changes we (Artlogic) make to the programming in the future may affect your CSS changes and it will be your responsibility to resolve these issues at your own expense.
This may occur because your website is based on a centralised template system shared between many clients. In the case that the desired design or layout is not possible by changing the CSS alone, we will not make any changes to the HTML markup or any other programming in order to fulfil your requirements. The effect of your CSS changes may be constrained by the site's programming.
