Learn how you can benefit from clearing your browser's cache when working with your Artlogic website and find links to learn how to do this with the most common browsers.
What is your browser's cache and why do you need to clear it?
Each time you load a web page, your browser calls to a server to load all the assets needed to build and display the web page to you. After visiting a page once, your browser may store some of these assets so that it can load more quickly in the future without having to rebuild the page from scratch.
This is generally a beneficial feature of browsers that allows faster internet browsing. However, when you are making design changes to your website it can sometimes mean that changes made in the back end of your site are not immediately reflected in the front end. If you cannot see certain changes after refreshing the front end of your site, you should be able to see them once you've cleared your cache and refreshed the relevant page.
