Your Artlogic database will automatically round values to 2 decimal places (eg. 0.029 will round to 0.03).
Unexpected decimal value in an invoice?
If you have an artwork record with an inclusive VAT price of, for example, £24.996, this will be rounded to £25.00 in the individual artwork's record.
However, if you have multiple records with a pre-rounded value of £24.996 and you add these to one invoice, to have a more accurate total value the system will calculate these together by adding the pre-rounded numbers.
So, if two items at £24.996 are added to a single invoice, the total price before rounding is £49.992. This then rounds down to £49.99.
