Please note: as of December 2023 the Artlogic app has replaced the Private Views app. Whilst you can continue to use the Private Views app for a limited period of time and receive basic support from our team, we ask all clients to download the Artlogic app as soon as possible. As your Artlogic app is designed to work offline as well as online, storing videos on the app is not possible due to the storage space it would require. Though this is not possible, there are a few workarounds that you are able to do.
How to include hyperlinks to your video in artwork records
- Include the URL in the artwork description/commentary or Provenance/Exhibition/Literature fields of an artwork record by highlighting the word you wish to hyperlink and selecting the hyperlink icon to paste the link to your video. This won't, however, be included as a hyperlink.
- Click save.
Please note: in the 'Images' tab of an artwork record you will find this setting: Allow people to play video within a Private View. This setting only refers to videos played in Private View links.
How to include hyperlinks to your video in custom Private Views
- Type text into either the top or bottom text fields in the Private View edit window.
- Highlight the text and select the hyperlink icon to paste the link to your video.
- Click save.
