This article will guide you through the steps of creating and adding interest categories to your mailing list sign up form on your website.
Anyone signing up to your mailing list from your website will be automatically created as a contact in your Artlogic database and now they will get the interest category assigned to them automatically.
How to set up interests & categories for your mailing list form
Steps
- Navigate to your Artlogic Database > Other > Admin > Core Preferences > Contacts > Categories & Interests > No public Categories & Interests > Disable (currently is enabled).
- Go to Contacts > Value lists > Interests / Categories > Create a new record and check the Public box.
- Go to your Website CMS > Settings > Mailing list (select Standard Form) > Form Layout > Enabled signup fields > Select Interests and Categories > Save
- Refresh your website and you will see the options become visible like the below example:
