To link your Mailchimp account to your Artlogic website you will need to copy an embed code from Mailchimp and insert this information into your Artlogic CMS.
Here are two ways to set up a mailing list on your website with our Mailchimp API. Firstly, to view your Mailing list settings, go to CMS > Settings > Settings > Mailing List
Step 1: Standard form - Mailchimp
To allow users to be signed-up to your MailChimp account when they opt-in via an enquiry form or if you are using our built-in mailing list signup form complete the fields listed here.
When you have filled in your Mailchimp API ID, Mailchimp audience ID and you Mailchimp GDPR list ID (optional), click 'Verify Mailchimp settings'. As you will see in the below image, your CMS explains how to find these details.
Step 2: External embed code
Select form type as 'External embed code' and, if it's on, turn off the 'enable Mailchimp integration'.
If you choose to use an external embed code, you will need to be responsible for setting up the "thank you for subscribing" message that appears to your clients after they subscribe to your mailing list.
You'd need to change some settings to enable this success message in Mailchimp and then paste the new embed code into the external embed code field in the CMS. We do not provide any success messages with embed codes.
