What's new?
New 'Book Value' fields in an Artworks Import
The following fields can now be easily imported directly into your Management system.
Please note: These new fields are only available for gallery and collector accounts that have the show_book_value core preference enabled.
Note: The label for the book value field can be customized (see screenshot above). The import spreadsheet must use the original Stock book value label as the column name.
What's been updated?
Improved Email Threading for Private View Enquiries Beta
We've listened to feedback on our new Beta feature and updated the subject line of gallery-facing Private View enquiry emails to include the collector’s name e.g., "Private View Enquiry – Jane Smith". This ensures each enquiry starts a separate email thread, making it easier for gallery teams to manage responses. The subject line of confirmation emails sent to collectors remains unchanged.
Artwork ID Now Included in Sales Pipeline Export
We’ve added a new column to the “Offered Artworks” tab of the Sales Pipeline export, displaying the unique ID of each artwork in the offer. This intends to better support galleries managing large inventories or when cross-referencing data in external systems.
Contact Letter Salutation
We’ve improved how the salutation is handled when using the “Letter” option in the contact sidebar. The system will now use the contact's custom Salutation if one is provided, and only fall back to “Dear” if it’s left blank - giving you more control over how your messages begin.
Renamed Column in Artwork Export
In the Artworks Excel export, the column previously labeled “Insurance Value” is now renamed to “Agreed Insurance Value”. It will display the value entered in the "Agreed value" field and remain blank if the artwork is set to calculate insurance automatically. This update better reflects the data being shown - no changes were made to the artwork record itself.
Improved Sorting Logic
We've updated the logic when sorting artworks by the field “Artists reference no” from alphabetical to numerical.
Note: The field can be given a different name in Core Preferences > Artworks to suit your needs.
What's been fixed?
Contact Link in Sales Pipeline Enquiries
We've fixed a bug which was causing the contact link in the “Original Enquiry” section of Sales Pipeline offers to link to the wrong page. Clicking the link now correctly takes you to the associated contact record in your Management system.
Dimensions Calculator Formatting
We’ve fixed an issue where the Dimensions calculator wasn’t working correctly when a custom format string (e.g. %(cms)s cm; (%(ins)s in.)) was set in Core Preferences. The system now correctly recognizes the semicolon (;) as a separator, allowing dimensions to display as expected when using the suggested format.
Artsy Integration for Edition Records
We’ve resolved an issue where price and dimensions were being removed from edition records in the Artsy CMS. This happened when artworks marked as editions were exported without the necessary edition_set data. Artlogic now ensures that edition_set data is always included when exporting editioned works—preventing data loss on Artsy. Note: If the "Create edition set" box is unchecked, only the current record will be exported. To include all related edition records, the box must be checked.
Special Characters in Artsy Integration Screen
We’ve fixed an issue where special characters (non-UTF-8) could break the “Connect artworks from Artsy to Artlogic” screen. The integration now handles these characters correctly, ensuring a smoother syncing experience.
Incorrect Error Message in Sales Pipeline
We’ve fixed an issue where an error message appeared when changing the status of an offer in the Sales Pipeline - even though the changes were saved successfully. This was caused by an incorrect authorization check and has now been corrected. Status updates now save without triggering a misleading error.
“On Consignment” Import for Artist Accounts
We’ve fixed an issue that prevented “On consignment” fields from being imported into Artist accounts when the “Allow all statuses” beta setting was enabled. Imports now work as expected with this setting active.
Stock Number Auto-Generation
We’ve fixed an edge case where the “Get next highest stock number” feature wasn’t working as expected. This occurred when an artwork had a hidden stock number field populated but no visible stock number. The feature now works reliably in all scenarios.
Missing Titles in Sales Pipeline Insights Charts
We’ve resolved an issue where chart titles were not displaying in Sales Pipeline Insights. Titles now appear correctly to provide clearer context for your data.
Auction History Formatting in Artwork Export
The "Auction History" column in the artwork Excel export now displays clean, readable formatting using commas and semicolons. Previously, hidden characters (like <c><r>) were shown - these have been removed for clarity.
Client VAT Number Visibility on Invoices
We’ve fixed an issue where the “Client VAT number” field appeared on downloaded invoices even when the setting to show it was turned off. It now respects your display preferences as expected.

Google Analytics Self-Serve in Website Launch Guide
We've made it even easier to get set up with Google Analytics by updating the “After Launch” section of the Website Launch Guide with a self-serve functionality. Previously, clients were advised to contact Artlogic for setup - this is no longer required.
Improved Grid Layout Handling in CMS
The CMS now preserves the layout of content grids even when images haven’t been uploaded yet - making it easier to build pages without disrupting the design.

Artist and Exhibition Page Sub-Navigation Spacing
We've fixed an issue where empty sub-navigation on Artist or Exhibition pages still appeared and caused unwanted spacing. Now, if there are no items to display, the sub-nav is hidden automatically, keeping your page layout clean and consistent.
Google Analytics Consent Mode Behavior
We've resolved an issue where Google Analytics consent defaults and updates were firing multiple times. Consent settings now apply correctly without duplication, ensuring accurate tracking and an improved experience.
Missing Currency Symbol in Online Sales
We've fixed an issue where, in some cases, the currency symbol wouldn’t display correctly for artworks listed as 'enable for online sales'. Currency symbols now appear as expected across all listings.
Unexpected Open Graph Image on Artist Pages
We've fixed an issue where the wrong Open Graph image could appear on Artist pages when certain content combinations were enabled. This ensures that previews, such as those in sitewide search results and Google listings, now display the correct image.
Art Fair Record Links
We’ve resolved an issue where links to Art Fair records were redirecting to the uploaded PDF rather than the full detail page, if no additional text content was provided. Links now correctly direct to the fair detail page with the PDF accessible from there.
