Create a new Google Analytics account and GA4 property for your website
On July 1, 2023, Google will stop tracking Universal Analytics and will migrate to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Please read on to find out how you should proceed.
If you are an existing client for whom we previously set up Google Analytics (pre June 2023)
Due to Google’s migration to GA4, we will no longer be managing your site’s Google Analytics. We will not be able to make you an Admin on this account, so in order to set up GA4, you will need to create a brand new Google Analytics account to use going forward. This can be done using the same email address you currently use to access GA.
In order to create a new GA account & property, please see Google's guidelines here.
Once you have set up your new GA4 property on Google, you can proceed to How to add a Google Analytics ID to your Artlogic CMS.
If you are an existing client who manages their own Google Analytics account:
You should be able to migrate to GA4 using the GA4 Setup Assistant on Google. You can see Google's guidelines on this process here.
Once you’ve obtained a new Google tag ID, you can proceed to How to add a Google Analytics ID to your Artlogic CMS.
If you are a new client who does not have a Google Analytics account (June 2023 onward):
You can create and manage your own Google Analytics account/property for this website. In order to create a new GA account & property, please see Google's guidelines here.
Once you’ve obtained a new Google tag ID, you can proceed to How to add a Google Analytics ID to your Artlogic CMS.
