The Library & Publication section in your database is dedicated to helping you manage your stock of publications. This guide will show you how to manage your library and publications and import their data.

Managing your library archive
If your organisation has a library, archive or bookshop, you can use your database to log stock, record provenance information and store images as well as relevant files.
To access this section of your database, can click Other > Library and publications > Library and publications.
Add publications
You can add publications in two different ways:
- To add a single record, click New Record in the bottom left corner of the Library and Publications overview page.
- If you have many publications to upload you can use our Import Wizard. You can get to this by clicking Other > Library and publications > Tools > Import > click Help to access a template and detailed instructions.
Adding Publication Types and Publication Categories
You can add Publication Types and Publication Categories to help organise your books for easier sorting by clicking Other > Library and publications > Value lists > Publication types/Publication categories.
These will populate the following fields:
Import your library and publications data
To upload your publications from an Excel file, you can use our self-import tool. After filling in the excel template below, using the exact columns included, go to Other > Library and Publications > Tools > Import and follow the instructions to upload.
