How to use the new 'Roomvo' visualiser on your website

The new view in your room feature allows you to add 2D artworks to the walls within real photographs of any interior space. Using this new integration, end-users will be able to upload photographs of their living space and instantly see the artwork in-situ.

Switching on the 'view in your room' feature

The new Roomvo tool can be enabled directly from your system settings. It will be on preview mode, and not yet live for your clients to see. You will need be logged into your CMS to preview the feature.

There are different steps for integrated and standalone website clients. Find both sets of instructions below. 

Steps for integrated clients

1. Log into your database
2. From the artworks menu, select the artwork you would like to enable the 'view in your room' feature for, and open the edit window.
3. Go to the artworks tab and confirm that the dimensions are correctly entered and calculated. Not having dimensions added to the record will prevent the feature from showing on your site.
4. Go to the website tab and scroll down to 'Enable 'Roomvo' for this artwork.
5. Turn the button on to enable the feature for the artwork.
6. Click Save.
7. To preview the feature, log into the CMS. Then, navigate to the artwork detail page to find the button.

Steps for standalone clients

1. Log into your CMS.
2. Go to Records > Artworks > All Artworks
3. Select the artwork you would like to switch on the feature for, and click on the pencil to open the edit window.
4. Ensure the dimensions have been correctly entered and calculated. Not having this field correctly entered will prevent the feature from showing on your site.
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the 'Enable 'Roomvo' for this artwork' button. Turn it on to enable the feature for the artwork.
6. Click Save.
7. To preview the artwork with the 'view in your room' feature, navigate to the artwork detail page on your website to find the button.
