You can add a video to your main exhibitor page as well as to each of your artwork records.
Key Information
You can add a Vimeo or YouTube Video URL (not an embed code) to individual artworks and a main video to your exhibitor page.
Only Vimeo and YouTube URLs are accepted. Videos are not hosted directly by Artlogic, and so video files should first be uploaded to Vimeo or YouTube. You can then copy the link into your Artlogic database.
Vimeo and YouTube have limitations on the length of the videos and the size of the file depending on if you use a free or paid account. Vimeo's free account allows 500MB and 10 files per day and YouTube's free account limits videos to 15 minutes. Vimeo paid accounts allow you to upload 5GB, 20GB or 25GB and YouTube is a maximum of 128GB or 12 hours of video.
The video cannot be previewed in the event page edit screen, but you will be able to preview it once you've published your page through to the website.
Main Exhibitor Page Video
You can add a main page video in the 'Exhibitor Page Details' section of your event page;
If added, your main page video will be displayed below your gallery details on your Exhibitor Page. This could be a short introduction video to your Gallery or perhaps a guide to the Artist or Artworks in your exhibitor page.
Adding Videos to Artworks
You can use videos for artworks to provide a short guide to the Artist or Artwork.
Add videos to each artwork record by clicking the pencil edit icon to open up the record, then by scrolling to the View on a Wall & Videos section.
Here you'll see the field where you can enter the video URL;
If added, the video will be displayed within the artwork detail on the live exhibitor page, just below the secondary images.
There is also an option to display your video on your exhibitor pager in place of the detail image. You'll find this field below your video's URL;
By selecting this option, you will replace the main artwork image with an embedded video on your exhibitor page.
Always make sure you test all of your video links when you preview your published exhibitor page, to ensure you are happy they are working as you would like them to be.
